Andrew Wagenseller, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience providing mental health and addiction treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Since beginning my clinical practice in 2009, I have served in a variety of roles including therapist, clinical supervisor, and Program Manager, helping adolescents and adults navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges with compassion and evidence-based care.
My practice focuses on individual therapy for adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, substance abuse, gambling addiction, and difficulties related to life transitions. I work with clients facing challenges such as job loss, divorce, grief and loss, relationship struggles, and major personal changes. I utilize a multi-modal and client-centered therapeutic approach tailored to each individual’s goals, strengths, and personal experiences.
I am trained in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to support clients healing from trauma, PTSD, and substance use-related issues. My background in addiction counseling allows me to help clients build healthy coping strategies, strengthen recovery supports, and develop sustainable support networks for long-term wellness.
I also specialize in Men’s Issues counseling, helping men improve relationships, identify personal values, navigate life transitions, manage stress, and develop greater emotional insight and resilience.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from New York University and my Bachelor of Arts in History from Fairfield University.
